Who Are We?
TrueNica Music is an independent music production, management and
distribution company.  We are dedicated to producing and distributing a wide
variety of music and music artists of the highest quality.  We are also dedicated
to helping Earth become a very aesthetic, healthy, friendly planet, free of
hunger and poverty.

While the above may seem to be naive, starry-eyed goals, TrueNica and its
personnel have the worldwide connections, as well as the leadership, practical
training, and experience to see those goals achieved – AND HAVE A GREAT
DEAL OF FUN DOING IT!!!

Can you imagine dedicating your life to any of the above if it wasn’t fun?  In
fact, can you imagine a healthy, friendly, aesthetic planet that wasn’t full of fun
and games?  Of course not.  TrueNica’s founders (more about them below)
started the company because accomplishing the goals of TrueNica is a game
they and their friends love to play.

You can follow the progress of TrueNica in attaining its goals by subscribing to
our newsletter,
Good Music News.  When you subscribe you’ll get a free pre-
release copy of “We Come Back” by Rhonda LaRoy, one of our founders.  The
music that is playing as you read this, "Let Me Out of the Rain", is also by
Rhonda.  The first edition of
Good Music News will go into greater detail on
how TrueNica is going about attaining peace on earth, goodwill towards man,
and lots and lots of great, inspiring, fun music!  You’ll also learn how you can
help if you want to, or just cheer us on!!!  To subscribe, just send us an email to

policy, check the column to your left.

At TrueNica Music we obviously have our heads in the clouds, but our feet are
firmly on the ground.  We are not interested in playing a game we cannot win.
We are a practical, if idealistic bunch.  As an example of our practical approach
to saving the world, the following is an excerpt from an article by our co-
founder, Robert Hawkins.  It’s called “Good Guys Land On Top”.

"Public Relations is good deeds well publicized, and the best way to do the
most good deeds is to put the most (in terms of time and money) into creating
good deeds and directing maximum public attention to your good deeds.  The
good news is that doing the maximum good – and telling the world about it –
also creates the maximum profit.

"We have spent a good deal of time consulting MD’s, dentists, accountants
and other businesses on enhancing their PR.  We simply got them, while
continuing business as usual, to put time, money, and genuine, caring
attention into helping their communities – and publishing what they did.  This
generally resulted in the client doubling or even tripling his income in the first
year.

"It’s funny, but the greater your good deeds, and the more openly they are
publicized, the greater your profit.  The greater your profit, the greater your
ability to do good deeds.  Moreover, the more openly your profitability is
publicized along with your good deeds, the more people will flock to your
products, thus making you more able to do more good deeds and increasing
your wealth exponentially.

"Everyone has a community they are associated with that they can help if they
are willing to put in a little effort.  If they want to do well financially and increase
their ability to do good deeds for their community, they will see to it that a
broad public knows of their good deeds.  And by the way, this doesn’t increase
the advertising budget in the least."

As we said earlier, we are musicians, performers, songwriters, who want to
make our world safer, more comfortable, more livable.  We also want to help
other music artists around the world be more comfortable and prosperous, and
we have the expertise and the worldwide connections to do so.

Our Founders

TrueNica Music was originally started by Rhonda LaRoy.  Robert Hawkins
quickly joined her.  To find out more about Rhonda,

Robert Hawkins is an experienced executive and business consultant. He has
consulted professionally and delivered seminars in the areas of business
administration, ethics, organizational establishment, promotion and marketing,
public relations, real estate, and the finding and programming of personal and
company goals and purposes, since 1994.

In addition to his administrative and management skills, he is a virtuoso
saxophonist and flutist and a top level composer, arranger, orchestrator and
producer, a graphic artist, storyteller, and a master chef.

Like Rhonda, Robert started performing at the age of five, and started gigging
around East Texas while still in high school.  After high school he joined the
United States Air Force, where he was with the 761st USAF Band.

When his military hitch was over, he attended the University of North Texas,
majoring in music composition.  After college, Robert made his living as a jazz
musician before moving to Los Angeles to work in the studios as a
saxophonist/flutist, arranger, orchestrator and producer.

Realizing that while his musical skills enabled him to make an excellent living
on a day to day basis, they in no way prepared him for the long term in the
music business or any other business, Robert became interested in
management.  He was lucky enough to secure a job with business and
financial genius, David Royal.  Working under the tutelage of this brilliant man,
Robert became thoroughly hooked on business.

Having spent most of his life believing what most artists of his acquaintance
believed, i.e., that all successful businessmen were basically criminals, Mr.
Royal’s example allowed him to see that the most successful business people
are also the most honest and ethical.  What a concept!

Since then, Robert Hawkins has divided his time between business and his life
as an artist, making him an ideal executive for TrueNica Music.

Robert was Rhonda LaRoy’s original arranger and producer, catapulting her
career in Europe.  Along with her, he founded and ran Apollo School of Music,
in Washington, DC.

He is also the author of
Basic Course in Music and Creative Genius, a course
which takes an interested person from having no technical knowledge of
music to the ability to compose major orchestral pieces, in a matter of a few
months.

Basic Course in Music and Creative Genius, including over a hundred musical
references, will be available as a series of eBooks in 2008.
